The Medical Explorers Program offered by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital will help high school students explore the myriad professions within healthcare. The Medical Explorers Program Will Resume in the Summer of 2024


Weekly Programs Include:

  • Meet our expert panelists across a variety of healthcare professions. Hear about their jobs, ask questions about their day-to-day work, and learn more about a career in healthcare.
  • The Medical Explorers Program will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 4 to 5 p.m. from June 4 to August 13.

Medical Explorer Requirements:

  • Must be at least a sophomore in high school
  • Dues of $50
    • To be paid via check, money order, or cash by the first session. Please contact us if you are experiencing financial hardship.
  • Must be able to commit to attending weekly meetings
  • Parent/legal guardian permission form must be signed
  • Applications due by 05/17/2024

  • June 18: Anesthesia and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • June 25: Nursing
  • July 2: Off
  • July 9: Advanced Practice Nursing
  • July 16: OR nursing and scrub techs
  • July 23: Therapy Services and Rehab
  • July 30: Behavioral Health/Psychology
  • August 6: Social Work and Case Management
  • August 13: Hospital Administration
