Kelly Henchel, M.D.
Dr. Henchel is medical director of the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinics at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. She sees patients at the hospital’s main campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. She joined the hospital staff in 2023. She was previously a pediatrician at Carilion Children’s Pediatric Outpatient Clinic in Virginia. She was also associate professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and residency program director at Virginia Tech Carilion Pediatrics. Dr. Henchel earned her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. She completed training in pediatrics at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit.

Dr. Alfaro specializes in general pediatrics in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Department of Pediatric Medicine. She joined the hospital staff in 2021. Previously, she worked as a pediatrician at Pediatric Associates of Tampa Bay as well as at Tampa General Hospital. In addition to practicing as a pediatrician, she started and ran her own practice, My Tampa Bay Pediatrics. Dr. Alfaro earned her medical degree from Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. She completed her first pediatric residency at Miguel Pérez Carreño General Hospital in Caracas, Venezuela, followed by a second pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she was chief resident and a clinical instructor. -
PEDIATRICS
Dr. Chavez specializes in general pediatrics in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Department of Pediatric Medicine. He joined the medical staff in 2006 and sees patients in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Chavez received his medical degree from the University of San Carlos in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and completed his pediatric training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark. Dr. Chavez also was an associate researcher for the World Health Organization’s Epidemiological Research Center in Reproductive Health and studied pediatric endocrinology and diabetes in Germany at University Children’s Hospital, Eberhard-Karls-Universität, Tuebingen. Dr. Chavez specializes in the care of complex children. He speaks English, Spanish and German. -

Dr. Dawkins specializes in general pediatrics and is medical director of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Care Network. She also is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Dawkins is active nationally with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatrics. Her research and teaching interests are in childhood resilience, advocacy, resident education and obesity. -

Dr. Glenn-Otto specializes in general pediatrics in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Department of Pediatric Medicine. She joined the hospital staff in 2022. Dr. Glenn-Otto earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami. She completed her residency at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, where she also completed a year as chief resident specializing in pediatric medicine. -

Dr. Goldberg is a general pediatrician at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at The University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. She completed a General Academic Pediatrics Fellowship and Master in Clinical Research at the University of Pittsburgh on a HRSA/NRSA T32 grant. -
PEDIATRICS URGENT CARE
Dr. Sando specializes in pediatric medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, seeing patients in St. Petersburg, Florida. Previously, she worked at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where she was an attending physician in the emergency center caring for urgent care patients and educating pediatric residents. Dr. Sando earned her medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed a pediatric residency at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Following, she provided clinical care and resident education in The Johns Hopkins Hospital pediatric emergency department and at Howard County General Hospital (emergency center and inpatient). -

Dr. Wroblewski specializes in general pediatrics at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She sees patients on the hospital’s main campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. She joined the hospital staff in 2023. Dr. Wroblewski also serves as the director of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Pediatric Residency Program. -
PEDIATRIC MEDICINE
Moore is a pediatric nurse practitioner who joined pediatric and adolescent medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in 2013. She has over a decade of clinical experience in pediatric care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts. She received her Master of Science to become a pediatric nurse practitioner from the University of Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with recognition as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is board certified with the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

Lana Soylu, M.D.
Dr. Soylu is medical director of the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinics at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Outpatient Care, Sarasota. She joined the hospital staff in 2023. She was previously an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa where she also served as the medical director at one of their academic general pediatric offices. Dr. Soylu also worked in private practice and as a locum tenens pediatrician throughout the United States.

Dr. Blanco specializes in pediatric medicine at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Outpatient Care location in Sarasota, Florida. She has worked as a pediatrician in the Sarasota area since 2001. Dr. Blanco also is a clinical assistant professor for both the University of South Florida College of Medicine and the Florida State University College of Medicine. Dr. Blanco earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and trained in the USF Health Residency Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. -

Dr. Montes is a Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine physician in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Department of Pediatric Medicine, seeing patients in Sarasota, Florida. He joined the medical staff in 2019. Some of Dr. Montes areas of clinical expertise include pediatric rehabilitation and caring for children with disabilities. -

Dr. Skidmore specializes in pediatric medicine at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Outpatient Care location in Sarasota, Florida. She has worked as a pediatrician in the Sarasota area since 2009. Dr. Skidmore earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her residency through the USF Health Pediatric Residency Program.

ADOLESCENT MEDICINE
Dr. Reese is the director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Specialty Clinic within the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She is also the adolescent medicine rotation director for the pediatric residency program. She joined the Johns Hopkins All Children's medical staff in 2016 and serves as a full-time assistant professor of pediatrics in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Reese’s clinical interests include reproductive health and mental health, and her research focuses are medical education and curriculum development in adolescent mental health and depression. She is an active member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, where she also serves as the secretary for the southeast United States region.

Our pediatric residency program brings some of the brightest young doctors from around the world to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital where our faculty physicians, staff and patients work together to provide excellent training for our resident physicians. As a teaching hospital and teaching clinic, we are as committed to their education as we are to providing excellent clinical care and advancing the field of pediatrics. As clinic providers, our residents care for your child in coordination with our faculty physicians.
