Deanna Green, MD

Pulmonology

Dr. Green, M.D., M.H.S., is a pediatric pulmonologist and the medical director of the nationally accredited Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Care Center and the CF Therapeutic Development Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She is focused on clinical care for patients with CF and clinical research using genetic modifiers of CF disease. Dr. Green is also an assistant professor of pediatrics with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Deanna Green MD

Nicholas Jabre, MD, MS

Pulmonology

Dr. Jabre is a pediatric pulmonologist and bioethicist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. He joined the hospital staff in 2020. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his training in pediatrics at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where he was part of the inaugural residency class. Dr. Jabre then completed a clinical fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship in bioethics at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute.

Scott McKinley, DO

Pulmonology

Dr. McKinley specializes in pediatric pulmonology in the Department of Medicine. His areas of clinical focus include cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, acute asthma, lung disease related to sickle cell disease, interstitial and rare lung disease.

Carolyn Robinson, MD

Pulmonology

Carolyn Conway Robinson, M.D., provides comprehensive pulmonology care at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital on the main campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, and outpatient centers in Tampa and New Port Richey. Dr. Robinson completed her pediatric residency at Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

Bridget Kennedy, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC

Pulmonology

Bridget Kennedy is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric pulmonology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. In her role, she focuses on patient and family centered care, health education, research, quality improvement and leadership. Previously, she worked for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as a registered nurse from 2003-14 on the pediatric subspecialty unit. During this time, she pursued her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. She returned to the hospital in 2017 to focus on pulmonology, with a particular interest in cystic fibrosis and asthma. Her previous experience includes pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine. She was also an adjunct clinical pediatric instructor in nursing. She is board-certified as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner.

Miste Baker, R.N., B.S.N.

Program Coordinator

Miste Baker is the program coordinator in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Miste joined the CF team in December 2022. She joined the hospital staff in 2015 and worked as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department. In her role, she works with all members on the CF care team to ensure that the CF program runs smoothly, which include participating in quality improvement (QI) initiatives and making sure that best practice care guidelines are properly implemented at the CF care center. She is there to address your concerns, answer questions and direct you to the right CF care team member when discussing a specific part of your treatment plan. Before joining our hospital, she worked as a registered nurse at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indiana where she provided emergency care. Miste has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valparaiso University.

Diana Hodge, MSN, RN, CCRC

Research Coordinator

Diana Hodge is a registered nurse and certified clinical research coordinator in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the team in 2016. In her role, she is the therapeutic development network coordinator and has also worked on physician-initiated and sponsored studies that help discover new therapies and gain understanding about cystic fibrosis. Before joining the hospital, she worked as a home health care nurse and case manager in Pinellas and Pasco counties. Her work experience is in nursing education and science research. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Florida and her Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University.

Diana Hodge, MSN, RN, CCRC

Jean Polasky, R.N., B.S.N

Newborn Screening & CFF Registry Coordinator

Jean Polasky is a newborn screening and cystic fibrosis registry nurse coordinator in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2009 and worked as a nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Medicine. In her role, she works with children, adolescents and families with complex needs. Through the state Infant Newborn Screening Program, she coordinates testing for babies identified at risk for cystic fibrosis. She also inputs and monitors data for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation registry, which helps identifies trends for microbiology, weight, hospitalizations, lung function and potential eligibility for cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) modulator therapies. Before joining our hospital, she worked as an infectious disease nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where she provided acute bedside care. She is a graduate of Otterbein University School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio.

Katie Litherland , Pharm.D., BCPPS

Ambulatory CF Clinical Specialist

Katie is an ambulatory clinical pharmacist in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2016. Katie earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, followed by a PGY-1 residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins All Children’s, Katie worked as a pediatric clinical pharmacist at the Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital. She also worked as a compounding pharmacist at an accredited, independently-owned pharmacy.

Michelle Marshall, RRT

Respiratory Therapist

Michelle Marshall is a registered respiratory therapist in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Michelle joined the CF team in January 2023. Michelle previously worked as a Respiratory Therapist in the JHACH Pulmonary Department. Prior to joining JHACH, Michelle worked for Shands Health Care in Gainesville, FL, where she provided critical care, emergency care, and trauma care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Her last few years at Shands she worked in the Bronchoscopy suite where she participated in extensive procedures pre-op/post-op Pulmonary Function tests. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Care and Associate of Science Degree in Sociology. Michelle is a member of the National Board for Respiratory Care.

Eric Schleich is the mental health coordinator in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the team in 2016. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, followed by a Master of Social Work from University of South Florida.

Emily Gordon, LCSW

CF Center Social Worker

Emily Gordon is a social worker in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2018. Emily provides support services to patients and families living with cystic fibrosis. Additionally, Emily works closely with other members of the CF team to promote quality of life for people living with CF. Prior to joining our hospital, she was the senior social worker at The Mount Sinai Hospital Adolescent Health Center in New York City where she provided mental health care and care coordination in an outpatient primary care setting. She is a graduate of Tufts University and Columbia University School of Social Work.

Acute Care Physical Therapist

Billy Siesel is an acute care physical therapist in the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the team in 2018. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Florida, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
